OFC looking for commercial partners for apparel, travel and television

The Oceania Football Confederation has launched a series of tenders to find key commercial partners in apparel/equipment, travel and television production.

Partners are sought for the following:

Football apparel and equipment

Term: 2024-2027
Tender closes: 5pm (NZT), Friday November 10, 2023

OFC’s reach has expanded by 220% in viewership over the past four years and in 2022, with only six months of competition, it accumulated 1.4 million unique views and a growth in engagement of 1.9 million.

OFC’s social media following increased by 40%.

“This is a new step for OFC in seeking out partnerships. We are striving to increase our brand association and find a top-tier apparel and equipment partner to take us through the next four years,” OFC Secretary General Franck Castillo said.

As an OFC partner, the successful party will have commercial partnership rights at all OFC competitions, football development, education and high performance, refereeing, social responsibility programmes for a four-year period (2024 – 2027).

This includes:

• Exclusive apparel and equipment rights.
• Branding and signage opportunities around the field, accreditation, media backdrop, pull-up banners, flyers/posters and any other branding/signage opportunities pertaining to OFC activities.
• Ball rights for 2025 – 2027 (see commercial partnership requirements).
• Coverage of the brand at all OFC competitions in the 1 minute of the team walkout (camera zooms into ball on the podium, team walks out, referee picks up ball).
• Advertising opportunities on OFC live-streamed competitions and events.
• Brand association on radio mentions and radio advertisements.
• Announcer mentions on the ground at each competition.
• Digital, website and social media presence on all OFC-owned channels.
• Logo/brand presence on all OFC media releases.

Travel

Term: 2024-2026
Tender closes: 5pm (NZT), Thursday November 30, 2023

Responsible for the development and organisation of football across the Pacific, OFC organises several competitions, including senior, youth, futsal, beach soccer and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, as well as educational courses for coaches, referees, administrators, and sports medical personnel.

The successful travel agency will demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex travel arrangements for large groups, teams and individuals, ensuring accommodation reservations and flights are organised effectively throughout our 11 Member Associations, as well as outside of the region, as and when required.

OFC will organise 19 events, including 11 competitions, throughout the Pacific in 2024, while staff will also attend many workshops in Member Associations and outside the region, including in Australia.

Television production

Term: 2024-2025
Tender closes: 5pm (NZT), Saturday November 18, 2023

The successful TV production partner will demonstrate a proven ability to produce live high-quality broadcasts of football matches including senior, youth, beach soccer and futsal, to be distributed throughout the region and around the world.

This invitation to tender is limited to the following OFC events, to be staged across 2024 and 2025, including all associated draws.
