Dell reels in game-winner, Tune makes first start

HOUSTON – Houston Football alum Tank Dell caught the game-winning touchdown for the Houston Texans and Clayton Tune made his first career start for the Arizona Cardinals during Week 9 of the NFL season.

Matthew Adams | Cleveland Browns | W, 24-0 vs Arizona

  • Recorded one tackle, against fellow Cougar Clayton Tune. Played nine defensive snaps and 22 special teams snaps. 

Kyle Allen | Buffalo Bills | L, 24-18 at Cincinnati

 
Tyus Bowser | Baltimore Ravens | W, 37-3 vs Seattle

Tank Dell | Houston Texans | W, 39-37 vs Tampa Bay

  • Connected with fellow rookie C.J. Stroud on two touchdown receptions including the game-winning catch with 10 seconds remaining. Dell was on the receiving end of the final two plays of the game. The rookie hauled in six catches for 114 yards and was one of three Texans receivers with 100-plus yards. Dell also rushed twice for two yards and returned two kickoffs for 44 total yards and one punt for seven yards.

  • Recorded a pair of tackles as a starting defensive lineman. Played 45 defensive snaps and one special teams snap. 

Gervarrius Owens | New York Giants | L, 30-6 at Las Vegas

Elandon Roberts | Pittsburgh Steelers | W, 20-16 vs Tennessee

  • Started at inside linebacker and led the team in tackles for the first time this season. Posted a season-high nine tackles, including a tackle for loss, in just 50% of the team’s defensive snaps (37). Also played eight special teams snaps.

Grant Stuard | Indianapolis Colts | W, 27-13 at Carolina

  • Played 23 special teams snaps. Did not record a stat.

 
Clayton Tune | Arizona Cardinals | L, 24-0 at Cleveland

  • Making his first-career NFL start, Tune passed for 58 yards on 11 completed passes. The rookie added 28 yards rushing.

Nick Thurman | Carolina Panthers | L, 27-13 vs Indianapolis

  • Posted a pair of tackles across 21 defensive snaps. Also played five special teams snaps.

Payton Turner | New Orleans Saints | W, 24-17 vs Chicago

Greg Ward Jr. | Philadelphia Eagles | Practice Squad

Damarion Williams | Baltimore Ravens | W, 37-3 vs Seattle
