Tennis wrapped fall schedule with weekend in Tulsa – University of Central Arkansas Athletics

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Central Arkansas tennis program wrapped up its fall slate this past weekend at the Tulsa Invitational and now the Bears can turn their focus to next semester’s spring schedule.

The pairs of Fuka Nonoyama and Nanoka Kazama and Sumomo Hamanaga and Vichitraporn Vimuktananda kicked off the weekend with a doubles win on Friday. Sophomore Ting-An Chen followed in singles play with a win in three sets to finish out day one. Saturday’s action was highlighted by singles wins by Vimuktananda and Nonoyama. Sunday was kicked off with a win by the pair of Vimuktananda and Hamanaga, then Nonoyama finished things off in the afternoon with a three set win over the number three singles player for North Texas.
