Breakfast Television’s Meredith Shaw mocks co-host Devo Brown’s outfit and compares him to Hollywood actor
BREAKFAST Television’s Meredith Shaw has playfully mocked her co-host Devo Brown’s outfit.
The presenter of the Citytv morning show compared Devo’s ensemble to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s iconic ’90s look.

Devo wore a black turtleneck with a silver necklace over the top and a blazer during the broadcast.
The BT star said: “Today I’m channeling my inner Rock from back in the ’80s.”
Meredith grinned and said: “You know, I was going to say.”
She added with emphasis: “The necklace on top of the turtleneck sweater…”
Devo joked: “I need a fanny pack.”
He added that he “purposefully” didn’t wear a gold necklace because he didn’t want to invite comparisons to the actor.
The Canadian presenter said sarcastically: “You know me, my muscles.”
Meredith joked, “They’re popping!” and mimed having huge biceps.

Dwayne wore the turtleneck with the fanny pack and blue jeans in a photo from the 90s, which has since gone viral and spawned Halloween costumes around the world.
This isn’t the first time Meredith has jokingly thrown shade at her co-host’s outfits.
Earlier this month, she poked fun at Devo’s “grandpa sweater” when he wore a white knitted sweater.
‘GRANDPA DEVO’
Devo was mocked by Meredith, Sid, and Melissa Duggan, as they discussed their Halloween plans.
Devo admitted that for him, Halloween ended after the show when he took his makeup off.
The broadcaster said it took about 40 minutes to get the spooky makeup on, and that after 30 minutes of removal he still had a black eye of makeup left behind.
Devo explained that he finished the removal at home and washed his hair out, and was “done with Halloween by about noon.”
After his fellow television stars said they were shocked to hear that Devo didn’t do anything that night, he justified: “I wanna say it… I’ve matured.”
Sid exclaimed: “Grandpa Devo!”
Devo asked: “Because I’m wearing a cardigan?”
Meredith added, “The grandpa sweater,” before bursting out laughing.
Devo was quick to defend his cream knit cardigan, explaining that because it had rips it was “cool,” before yelling at his laughing co-hosts to, “Stop it!”
