Lamb gets some nice recognition after his recent performances.
CeeDee Lamb’s hands have been on an unprecedented hot streak. So hot, in fact, that the gloves he wore while setting an NFL record last Sunday have made their way to Canton for a special display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
With an 11-catch, 151-yard performance in Week 10 versus the Giants, the Cowboys wide receiver became the first player in league history to log double-digit receptions and 150-plus receiving yards in three consecutive games. He had previously tallied 12 catches for 158 yards in Week 8 against the Rams and 11 catches for 191 yards in the very next contest against the Eagles.
Now his gloves and towel from the record-setting 49-17 win are on display in the Hall’s “Pro Football Today” gallery.

Lamb’s matchup with cornerback Donte Jackson will be huge on Sunday.
It won’t be an easy task for CeeDee Lamb to continue his run of three straight games with 10-plus receptions and 150-plus receiving yards as Carolina’s defense is allowing just 176.4 passing yards per game in 2023 (6th in NFL), and that challenge extends to his matchup when he’s lined up opposite of Donte Jackson.
Now, Carolina runs the second-most zone coverage in the entire NFL (83.3-percent of defensive snaps), so a “matchup” will be more focused on Lamb finding holes around Jackson’s zones, but it will be up to Jackson and his group of secondary mates to limit the hottest receiver in the league as of late.
Assisting Dak Prescott will be big for Lamb on Sunday, as Lamb finding the right holes in the zone coverage will be big towards offensive success. Can Lamb keep his streak going? It’ll be a tall task, but the opportunity is always there for 88 to have a big game.

Ferguson is making Cowboys fans forget about Dalton Schultz more and more with every passing week.
Ferguson the team’s second-leading receiver with 36 catches and is tied for first in touchdown receptions with Lamb at four.
After four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown against the Giants, he has caught touchdown passes in three straight games.
The last Cowboys tight end with a touchdown catch in three consecutive games was Jason Witten (three) in 2011.
It’s just latest of example of the continued development of the second-year tight end, who was drafted in the fourth-round in 2022 out of Wisconsin and charged with replacing the departed Dalton Schultz as the starter in 2023.

Dallas needs to continue running the football as they did in Week 10.
The Cowboys haven’t run the ball well for most of the year, but things started to come together last week when the team ran for 168 yards and over five yards per carry. The splitting of carries between starting RB Tony Pollard and backup Rico Dowdle could continue, which would benefit the offense.
Carolina’s run defense ranks 26th in the league, giving up almost 132 yards per game on the ground, and has allowed the second-most rushing scores at 15.
It doesn’t need to be a run-first offense, but if the Cowboys can get the running game to match what the passing attack is doing, McCarthy’s unit could elevate to the upper echelon in the league. The rushing attack must keep improving and this is another week where Dallas can be efficient on the ground against a poor run defense.

The Panthers’ pass defense took a major hit on Friday.
They have allowed 2,775 yards on the season, which is good for sixth-best in the NFL. They allow 308.3 yards per game which seems like a lot, but again it is the seventh lowest in the NFL.
So what is the issue, with the team?
Well for one their offense is atrocious. The bad news for the Panthers is they’ll need that precise unit to step up on Sunday.
It was announced earlier that the Panthers would be without CB Jaycee Horn for their matchup with Dallas despite expecting his return this weekend.

The Panthers realize that the Cowboys fan base will be well represented in the Queen City.
The Dallas Cowboys have the NFL’s largest fanbase — their average home attendance of 93,548 leads the NFL this season — and the Carolina Panthers are preparing for the fans of “America’s Team” to descend on Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, en masse for their Week 11 showdown on Sunday.
So much so that Panthers head coach Frank Reich has his team preparing to use a silent snap count against the Cowboys. It is a practice utilized in raucous, road environments when opposing fans are so loud that the visiting offense uses it to avoid miscommunication. Rare is it that a home team has to employ such this practice.
“I think everyone knows how well Dallas travels,” Reich said Friday, via ESPN. “We have a great city that other teams’ fans like to come to. We’re prepared, we practiced silent count this week if we have to use it. We’re prepared either way.”
