BREAKFAST Television’s Sid Seixeiro has gone missing from the show after he was caught swearing on air.
The morning show star Devo Brown took Sid’s usual spot on the Citytv live broadcast and appeared next to Meredith Shaw.
Sid was not present for his BT segment after hinting yesterday that his Thursday had become his ‘Friday.’
Devo opened the section from the Canadian studio on Friday and spoke over an exterior shot of Toronto‘s Yonge Dundas Square.
“Good Friday morning, let’s go a little crazy, why not? Let’s have some fun on a Friday,” he began.
Meredith chimed in: “Why not?”
Devo continued: “Meredith Shaw and Devo Brown with you this morning, Sid Seixeiro off.”
The shot cut back to the presenting duo, who both wore blazer jackets and looked at the camera.
Devo looked to producers: “Back on Monday as we all use up a bit of vacation.”
Meredith held her hands out and said: “It’s true.”

Her co-presenter justified: “It’s getting to the end of the year, we’ve all got to take a few breaks.”
Meredith nodded at Devo in agreement and smiled before they moved on to the section which discussed his week.
LIVE MISTAKES
Sid’s disappearance came after the star was caught cursing on air in an apparent “glitch.”
The presenter was discussing politics alongside Mike Eppel on BT before the camera cut to black and their mics were cut off after the segment was completed.
However, a “glitch” meant that the cameras and mics were turned back on when the presenters seemed to assume they were on an ad break.
The pair then engaged in conversation, in which they seemingly thought they were hidden from the public.
Sid said: “Mike Eppel it warms my heart to see you sifting through a newspaper every time I catch you doing it.”
The camera abruptly zoomed in and out which gave the impression that they did not realise the show was still live.
Mike held up a paper and replied: “Dude I printed out the fall economic statement, 140 pages of it.”
Sid was shocked: “What?”
His co-presenter continued: “Yeah because I want to see some things.”
Sid looked to producers off-camera and spoke loudly: “F**k the trees.”
