Buckeyes Announce 2024 Slate – Ohio State University


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nine regular season home matches, as well as ITA Kickoff Weekend matches in Columbus, highlight the 2024 Ohio State women’s tennis schedule.
 
The Buckeyes will begin their spring season at the Michigan Invitational Jan. 12-14, an individual tournament. Dual play starts with a trip to Oklahoma for matches vs. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State Jan. 19 and 21, respectively.
 
The home schedule starts when the Buckeyes will again serve as an ITA Kickoff Weekend site. The first-round matchups Jan. 26 feature Ohio State taking on Notre Dame and Kansas facing Arizona State. Championship and consolation matches will be held the following day, with the site winner advancing to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, set to be held Feb. 9-12 in Seattle.
 
February wraps up with a match at Arizona State Feb. 25 in Tempe. Three home matches kick off the slate in March. The Buckeyes will welcome Washington March 3, Pepperdine March 8 and Michigan March 15.
 
Ohio State will be on the road for its next three matches, facing Michigan State March 17, Indiana March 23 and Purdue March 24.
 
After home matches against Maryland (March 29) and Rutgers (March 31), it will be back to the road for the Buckeyes, as they travel to Penn State April 3, Iowa April 12 and Nebraska April 14.
 
The regular season ends with home matches, as the Buckeyes will host Northwestern April 19 and Illinois April 21.
 
The Big Ten Tournament will be held April 24-28 in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Home matches will be played inside the Ty Tucker Tennis Center or outside at the Varsity Tennis Courts in the Auer Tennis Complex. Admission and parking are free for all Ohio State regular-season home matches.
