Men’s Tennis Announces 2024 Spring Schedule – Ole Miss Athletics


OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss men’s tennis and head coach Toby Hansson officially released the team’s 2024 spring season schedule, which features 23 dual matches and four tournaments, on Friday. 
 
Among the 23 matches awaiting the Rebels in 2024 are a total of two non-conference doubleheaders including the team’s season-opening matchups against Jackson State and North Alabama on Jan. 15.
 
After its first road match at SMU on Jan. 18, the Rebels will compete in the second doubleheader of the season against Tennessee State on Jan. 21. The team will then travel to Boston, Mass. to kick off ITA Kick Off Regional play, taking place Jan. 27-28. Ole Miss will first compete against Northwestern and then will have the chance to see Harvard or UCLA.
 
Ole Miss will then play host to Memphis, Feb. 10, before traveling to ITA National Indoors Finals (Feb. 16-19) in Queens, N.Y. if the Rebels are able to win their ITA Kick Off Regional. The Rebels will then head south to take on Tulane (Feb. 23) and New Orleans (Feb. 25).
 
The Rebels will briefly dip into conference play by hosting Auburn on Mar. 1 before closing out the team’s non-conference schedule on Mar. 3 against Tulsa. Ole Miss’ first conference road tests of the season will come on Mar. 8 versus LSU and Mar. 10 at Texas A&M.
 
Ole Miss is then set to host Arkansas (Mar. 15) and Vanderbilt (Mar. 17) before kicking off a three-match road spell with the Rebels traveling to Florida (Mar. 22), South Carolina (Mar. 24), and to in-state rival Mississippi State (Mar. 29). 
 
Three home matches will be waiting for the Rebels when they return to Oxford, including matchups against Kentucky on Mar. 31, Georgia on Apr. 5, and a senior-day matchup versus Tennessee on Apr. 7.
 
Ole Miss is then slated to close out its 2024 spring regular season schedule in Tuscaloosa, as the Rebels take on Alabama on Apr. 12. The team will then take their talents to Louisiana State University to take part in the SEC Championships, which are set to run April 17-21. 
 
In the event Ole Miss punches their ticket into the postseason for the 30th consecutive year, the Rebels will take part in the NCAA Regionals set to take place May 3-5. The NCAA Super Regionals are slated to run May 11-12 with the NCAA Championships following, May 16-25, in Stillwater, Okla., to conclude the tennis season.
