With nine games on Saturday’s NBA main slate, there’s plenty of spots to find bargain DFS plays for your lineup. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Lu Dort, Thunder, $4,900
When Dort gets big minutes, he tends to turn that into a solid fantasy outing. The small forward went for 35 DKFP against the Kings Thursday, and should be involved in a relatively high-scoring game against the Nuggets Saturday. Dort has played 28+ minutes in four of the last five games, averaging 28.2 DKFP in those games. He’s worth backing at this price point for tonight’s contest.
Moses Moody, Warriors, $4,900
Brandin Podziemski has seen his price go up since he entered the starting lineup, which means Moody is next in line as a value play on Golden State. The Warriors are going to need several players to step up while Draymond Green is out, with Moody being a big candidate to do so. He’s a capable three-point shooter who is a rotation regular already. The Nets rank 26th in fantasy points allowed to wing players, so this is a great spot for Moody to go off.
Grant Williams, Mavericks, $4,900
If you believe in patterns, a big game is due for Williams Saturday against the Trail Blazers. The Mavericks forward has tallied 35.5 DFKP, 7.8 DKFP, 28.3 DKFP and 12.3 DKFP over the last four games, which sets up a spot for a monster showing tonight. The Trail Blazers are a solid team against power forwards, ranking 12th in fantasy points allowed to the position. Williams is versatile enough in a good offense to bounce back from a rough game Thursday in this contest.
