Warriors vs Bulls Picks, Predictions & Odds Tonight – NBA – Covers

The Warriors are reeling, and up against a Bulls team that suddenly looks like it’s playing for something. Find out if our NBA picks think Golden State can snap out of it.

Two teams trending in opposite directions clash Friday night, when the Golden State Warriors visit the Chicago Bulls.

Golden State has been battered in back-to-back home blowout losses, with just a win against the lowly Detroit Pistons in its last four. The Dubs are 3-point road underdogs in the NBA odds.

The Bulls, meanwhile, are seeking their season-best fourth-straight win, the last two courtesy of overtime efforts.

Warriors vs Bulls predictions

These ain’t your dynasty Dubs, kids.

Golden State is reeling, coming off a 141-105 demolition against the New Orleans Pelicans that had Chase Center fans booing their team off the court.

This was supposed to be a bounce-back effort, as the Warriors were coming off a 133-118 thumping at the hands of the visiting Toronto Raptors.

Instead, New Orleans hung 46 on them in the first quarter and never looked back.

Defense has been a major issue for G-State since Christmas, as it’s allowed 124.3 points per game, with teams shooting 51.8% from the field and 38.7% from distance.

So, it’s no surprise the Golden State has just two wins in eight games, dropping to three games under .500, and sitting in 12th in the West.

Draymond Green still appears to be a few games away from ready after a 12-game suspension, while Chris Paul is out for a while with a broken hand. Young wing Moses Moody (calf) is also out.

There’s a different vibe in Chicago, as the Bulls are enjoying their best run of the year, going 8-4 in their last 12.

Their most recent outing was a thrilling 124-119 OT win over the Houston Rockets, a day after needing extra time to dispatch the Charlotte Hornets.

Scoring-wise, they’re still averaging around 109 points during this fun-run, which is right in line with their lowly 27th rating in league scoring.

The difference is their defense. Already seventh in the NBA allowing 111.7 points per game, the Bulls have trimmed that more than four points to 107.4 over that stretch.

They are holding teams to 45.2% shooting from the field and a pedestrian 33% from 3-point range. It’s helped the Bulls climb to the ninth spot in the East.

Recent history has been total domination by the Warriors, who have won nine of the last 10 head-to-heads — with the Bulls stopping a nine-game skid with a win last year.

Perhaps getting on the road will ease some pressure on the Dubs, but injuries and a streaking Bulls side are going to be a little too much for G-State to handle.

My best bet: Bulls moneyline (-155 at DraftKings)

Warriors vs Bulls same-game parlay

Bulls moneyline

Coby White Over 20.5 points

Coby White Over 2.5 points 3-pointers

Steph Curry Under 4.5 3-pointers

33% boost available

The spotlight and meat of this SGP is at the point guard position, where an emerging star for the Bulls might have saved their season, while the Warriors need their old reliable superstar to lift them out of this rut.

Injuries thrust Coby White into a more prominent role, and the fifth-year guard has taken off.

He averaged 22.6 points on 46.9% shooting from the field, and 40.2% from 3-point range. White has stayed white-hot in 2024, upping his shooting splits to 48.8% from the field and 47.4% from distance.

He’s coming off a 30-point gem in the win over Houston, the fourth straight game he’s gone for at least 22 points in a game, and he’s hit at least three triples in each contest.

So perhaps the books are a little behind on this success, as 20.5 points and a line of 2.5 moneyballs makes seem generous. I’ll hit the over on both.

Steph Curry, meanwhile, is coming off his worst two-game stretch this year, totaling 24 points on 22.2% shooting, including a woeful 3-for-17 mark from distance, a 17.6% clip.

He’s hit five or more 3-pointers just twice over the last eight games, as he’s on an island trying to generate offense, and no CP3 or Green isn’t going to help. He may break 20 points, but I think he stays under this total.

Warriors vs Bulls spread and Over/Under analysis

The majority of books have kept this spread in the range of 3.0-3.5 points, with a few books ducking Under to the Bulls at -2.5.

Golden State is just 16-20-1 against the spread this year, but is just 8-2-0 ATS in this head-to-head. Chicago is 20-18-1 ATS, including a 12-9-1 mark against the spread at home.

As for the spread, the lowest combined score any book is offering is 228.5 points, with most sites a full point more at 229.5.

If there’s one thing the Warriors have been successful at this year, it’s hitting the Over, which has gone 22-15-0, the eighth-best mark in the league. The Bulls’ O/U mark is an even 19-19-1.
