As traditional broadcasting takes a backseat, the new venture is being likened to ‘Sports Hulu,’ drawing parallels to the joint venture of Disney, Fox, Time Warner, and Comcast, and marking a shift from traditional TV to digital streaming.

These factors could lead to a variety of new viewing experiences, including the potential for marquee events like the Super Bowl to be offered on a pay-per-view basis.
