EKU Men’s Tennis Wins Tenth Straight Match Against North Dakota – Eastern Kentucky University Athletics

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s tennis team (12-3, 0-0 ASUN) won its tenth straight match by a score of 6-1 against North Dakota (2-9, 0-0 Summit) on Sunday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. The Colonels are on their longest winning streak since 2010. EKU has the best record to start the season since 2011.
 
To begin the dual match, Fernando Bulnes and Evzen Holis won their doubles match from the No. 1 court, 6-4. Paul-Antoine Brazet and Kristoffer Stahlbrand won their fifth doubles match of the season as a pair from the No. 3 position, 7-6 (7-3), as the Colonels took a one-point advantage.
 
Bulnes won his singles match in straight sets from the No. 2 court, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4).
 
Moritz Mayer earned the victory in singles play from the No. 3 spot in three sets, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4.
 
Brazet clinched the match for the Colonels in singles from the No. 4 court, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
 
Stahlbrand dominated in singles play from the No. 5 position, 6-1, 6-1.
 
J.Anurag Reddy earned a straight-set victory in singles from the No. 6 spot, 6-0, 6-1.
