CHICAGO – Back at home for the first time since late February, No. 3 University of Chicago women’s tennis welcomed North Central to XS Tennis for a dual against a local foe. The Maroons had no issue defending their home court and dismissed the Cardinals in shutout fashion.

No. 3 UChicago – 9
HOW IT HAPPENED
- No. 3 University of Chicago (11-1) took all three points in doubles play, including winning the second and third games via an 8-3 score. The Maroons were challenged in the top spot but it wasn’t anything they couldn’t overcome in an 8-5 victory.
- It was the same thing on the single side as the Maroons took all six points against North Central (17-5). There were three 6-0 victories, including two from Nika Vesely in the second slot, while UChicago had seven other 6-1 or 6-2 wins.
WHO’S ON DECK
