The music of Mexican pop singer Gloria Trevi – who earned her moniker as “The Mexican Madonna” during the era of Alejandra Guzmán, Paulina Rubio and Thalía – remains as strong as ever, and the 56-year-old diva has no plans to stop anytime soon.

“The truth is that our life, our life has music. We have a soundtrack for every moment,” said Trevi last Friday during her “Mi Soundtrack World Tour 2024” stop at the Save Mart Center.

Trevi, who performed before more than 5,000 fans, has more than 30 million physical records sold and more than 7 billion combined streams of her catalog on digital platforms.

Trevi, one of the most successful composers in Latin America, returned to Fresno to celebrate her musical career with her “Mi Soundtrack World Tour 2024” tour through the United States.

The singer stressed the importance of music in one’s life.

“The day we decided to make our dreams come true, that day a song began to sound in your heart and mine,” she said. “To make our dreams come true, many had to come live in Fresno. To the United States.

“Many of us had to say, ‘Hoy me ire de casa (Today I’m leaving home),’” Trevi said, starting the song.

Trevi showed her evolution through new versions of her iconic classics and new songs that represent different moments in her life.

Some came as far as Manteca to see Trevi during the more than two-hour concert that included endless costume changes.

The Monterrey native was inspired by the release of Trevi’s soundtrack, “Mi Soundtrack” (Vol. 1 and Vol. Two) for the concept of her tour.

Trevi also had new singer MAR Solís as a special guest who opened the show. If you didn’t know MAR, she is the daughter of legendary music icon Marco Antonio Solís.

During her performance, MAR presented her most recent single, ‘Ojitos de Colores’.

Trevi was in Fresno with her ‘Isla Divina’ tour in 2022 and the ‘Diosa de la Noche’ tour in 2019.
