Giants vs. Jets game prop bets for NFL players this weekend – NorthJersey.com
The Giants and Jets will square off for the 15th time as the two teams face off in Week 8 of the NFL regular season this weekend.
Last week in my Giants-Commanders player props column, I went 2-1 with Darren Waller having his most productive day as a Giant (seven catches for 98 yards and a TD) and Commanders’ Brian Robinson finding the end zone at plus money (+130).
The lone exception was Saquon Barkley, who needed one more catch to hit his over 3.5 reception line last Sunday afternoon.
So what props should you wager on during this Week 8 matchup? Here are my three best bets for this year’s version of the “MetLife Bowl”:

NY Jets RB Breece Hall anytime TD scorer (+130)
Despite not finding the end zone through the first four games of the season, Hall has scored in back-to-back contests.
His go-ahead fourth quarter rushing touchdown in Week 6 versus the Eagles was his first TD at MetLife Stadium in nearly a calendar year as he missed a majority of last season with a knee injury.
Since Week 4 against the Chiefs, Hall has seen his snap percentage increase in each game (played season-high 66 percent of snaps vs. Eagles), while back up Dalvin Cook’s percentage has decreased in that same time span (saw only 14 percent of snaps vs. Eagles).
Hall now faces a Giants team that’s surrendered a rushing touchdown to an opponent in 10 straight games, With a team-high 10 red zone rushing attempts and getting more usage week-after-week, this is my best bet in this matchup, especially still at plus money.
Multiple sportsbooks including BetMGM, DraftKings and bet365 have the best price for Hall to score a touchdown at +130.
NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley OVER 22.5 receiving yards (-110)
While Barkley might have just missed his reception total in Week 7, take the over for his receiving yards in this one.
The Jets held the Eagles in check for a majority of their matchup but one area Philly did exploit was out of the backfield. D’Andre Swift had a team-high eight catches but more importantly 40 receiving yards.
Barkley cleared this line on his own with a 32-yard receiving touchdown versus the Commanders this past weekend.
Even though I don’t expect the former second overall pick to repeat that type of play again, I do believe he’ll be more of a focal point against a vaunted Jets’ secondary that will likely try to take away the team’s top target in Waller.
Bet365 currently has the best price of -110 (Bet $110 to win $100) for Barkley to record 23 or more receiving yards.

NY Jets QB Zach Wilson UNDER combined 212.5 passing and rushing yards (-115)
There’s no denying how much Wilson has improved since the calendar turned to October. He’s completing nearly 70 percent of his passes and has thrown one interception since Week 3.
However, bet on the under for Wilson on this prop.
The 2021 second overall pick has gone below this line in four of six games this year and seven of his previous 10 dating back to the 2022 season.
Furthermore, the Giants defense has held three QBs to 212 or fewer passing + rushing yards in three contests and could likely do so again versus a shaky Jets offensive line.
Another added element into this is the weather. As of Friday afternoon, the forecast in East Rutherford projects for a high of 55 degrees but an 82 percent chance of rain on Sunday.
With a matchup of two solid defenses and rain likely being a factor this weekend, I expect this will be a low scoring affair which includes Wilson not crossing this total.
DraftKings Sportsbook and BetMGM have the longest odds for Wilson to record fewer than 212.5 passing and rushing yards at -115 (Bet $115 to win $100).
